The Upper Bucks Alliance for Creative Expression (UBACE) is a grassroots nonprofit offering completely free music and performance programs for students in 6th through 12th grade. We don’t charge tuition. We don’t require students to bring instruments. We meet them where they are—with open arms, ready to help them grow as musicians and young leaders.
If you're wondering what your donation to UBACE actually supports, here's the breakdown—no exaggeration, just impact.
1. Your Donation Keeps Our Programs Free for Every Student
UBACE doesn’t rely on school district budgets. We’re independently funded, which means community support keeps us going. Every dollar helps us cover essentials like:
Skilled instructors who mentor students through weekly rehearsals
Gear like drumsticks, cables, and amps
Sound equipment maintenance
Practice and performance space
Food and water during long rehearsals or shows
We never charge families a dime—and that’s only possible with your help.
2. You’re Fueling Confidence, Creativity, and Connection
Our students come from all over Upper Bucks County, and they don’t need to audition or be at a certain skill level. Some join with no prior music experience. Others find UBACE after losing access to arts programs at school.
What they share is a love of music—and a space to belong.
3. You’re Helping Us Stay Loud—And Local
UBACE doesn’t have national funding. We’re not backed by a foundation. We’re a local nonprofit, run by a small team and powered by volunteers, donors, and people who believe that music matters. When you donate, you’re not just supporting an arts program—you’re investing in a community.
Whether you're a parent, former participant, or neighbor who’s seen us perform at a local event, your gift keeps the beat going.
